Please join us as we honor Rabbi Heschel’s life and legacy on the occasion of his 53rd yahrzeit (anniversary of his passing) through a close reading and discussion of his influential essay, “No Religion is an Island.”
Contemporary theologians and religious leaders will reflect on Rabbi Heschel’s pioneering interreligious contributions through the prism of this essay, exploring the interconnectedness of all life, the shared pursuit of the “living God,” and wisdom for interfaith learning, community building, and organizing today.
