Sign up today to join ShavuotLIVE, an event that celebrates and transforms the Shavuot tradition of all-night learning into a full-on 24-hour festival of learning from June 8-9th!

ShavuotLIVE is brought to you by our friends at Judaism Unbound, who write:

Shavuot is a Jewish holiday that many have never observed before. But we think it's a great one! One of its traditions has been staying up all night, learning in community with others. But we're greedy. We don’t just want all-night...we want all-night AND all-day! So we offer an event called ShavuotLIVE, which creates a marathon of 24 straight hours of learning, for FREE, available anywhere on the planet with internet access. Over the course of its first three years, ShavuotLIVE has reached over 3,000 participants, all around the world!

We’ve invited an incredible slate of presenters, who will collectively teach for 24 straight hours, beginning at 5 pm Eastern on Saturday, June 8th and concluding at 5 pm Eastern on Sunday, June 9th.

You can come for just 1 session, go to 3 or 4, or shoot for 24 in a row! Whatever works for you, we want your Shavuot to be special, and full of learning!

The Shalom Center is excited to be part of this program, which also features several of our close team members:

  • Shalom Center Board Member Lex Rofeberg is Senior Jewish Educator for Judaism Unbound and co-host of its weekly podcast, and will be a core facilitator throughout ShavoutLIVE, leading the opening and closing hours on June 8 and June 9 as well.

  • At 8pm ET on June 8, Shalom Center Board Member Rabbi Jericho Vincent will be leading a session titled "Religion for People who Think They're Allergic to Religion"

  • At 2pm ET on June 9, Shalom Center Executive Director Rabbi Arthur Waskow will be speaking on "Strengthening a New Judaism in the American Diaspora” .

But these are only a few of 24 consecutive hours of sessions! Visit https://www.judaismunbound.com/shavuot to read more about the program and to see the full list of confirmed speakers.

Or go straight to bit.ly/shavuot2024 to sign up!
