In Jewish tradition, mourners mark the thirtieth day after a loved one’s funeral with a practice known as shloshim. This practice, which means “30th,” signifies an important shift in the mourning process, as most customs associated with the formal mourning period come to a close.
Thursday November 20th will be the 30th day since Reb Arthur’s funeral.
You are invited to join The Shalom Center on Zoom for a short prayer service that morning, to honor this transition in community and sacred time.
We will host a morning service with chanting, singing, learning, and remembrance. All are welcome. The gathering is free to attend, but please register below for the Zoom link.
Come as you are to remember and honor our dear Reb Arthur.
