When it comes to climate justice, which is better, learning or action? Learning, for it leads to action!

Join The Shalom Center, CCAR Press, and The Religious Action Center for a night of learning and action in honor of the release of The Sacred Earth: Jewish Perspectives on Our Planet.

In this new collection from CCAR Press, leading thinkers at the intersection of Judaism and Earth-wisdom — including The Shalom Center’s Rabbis Arthur Waskow (Founder & Director), Nate DeGroot (Associate Director), and Mordechai Liebling (Board Member) — reflect on human vulnerability in the face of forces of nature, examine conceptions of our place in cosmology, and grapple with environmental destruction.

During this program, four of the book's contributing authors — including Rabbis Waskow and DeGroot — will converse about how Judaism compels us into action for climate justice and attendees will get to take concrete action as part of The RAC's Power for Purpose campaign.

Featuring: R' Arthur Waskow, R' Elizabeth Bahar, Dr. Mirele Goldsmith, R' Nate DeGroot
Moderated by: Jordan Berg Powers | Action facilitated by: R' Cookie Lea Olshein
A collaboration of: The Shalom Center, CCAR Press, and The Religious Action Center (RAC)

Pre-order the book today and use code 20EARTH during checkout to receive a 20% discount! Valid through Monday, June 19.
